Job Description

The IT Helpdesk Manager is a visionary leader responsible for providing exceptional service to PDC employees. This individual leads the IT helpdesk staff and operations, ensuring timely and efficient support on a 24x7 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Help Desk staff, including performance evaluations, promotions, hiring, and disciplinary actions
  • Monitor problem management database and ensure timely resolution of problems
  • Escalate problems to coordinate recovery and identify recurring issues
  • Isolate problem trends and implement troubleshooting efforts until permanent solutions are found
  • Ensure decisions improve customer support and contribute to departmental productivity objectives
  • Coordinate training requirements and participate in training programs

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of IT experience required
  • 3+ years of management experience required
  • Experience managing system administrators and support analysts required
  • Help desk software experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Active Directory, and operations management tools expertise preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage distributed systems required

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
