Medical Imaging Specialist III CV Services-PRN

The Medical Imaging Specialist III – Cardio is responsible for providing cardiac ultrasound services, demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide cardiac ultrasound services, utilizing knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives as they relate to the Echo Department, contributing to the development of best practices and protocols.
- Provide clinical experience and training for students in the Echo Department, fostering the next generation of medical imaging professionals.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a recognized 1-2-year non-invasive cardiology program with emphasis in cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Must be licensed by the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum one-year clinical experience in an acute care facility with demonstrated proficiency in cardiac sonography.
- A.R.D.M.S registry eligible.
- R.D.C.S in adult echocardiography and registry eligible in pediatric echocardiography preferred.
