About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Chicago. As a key member of our OBGYN department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients, taking into account their age, acuity, and clinical condition.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies, as well as prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions and therapies.
  • Manage patient conditions based on clinical indication, evidence-based care, cost-effectiveness, and risk-benefit analysis.
  • Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management counseling and education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage patients and seek consultation or referrals as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Facilitate consistent, coordinated care and clear communication among healthcare team members and health or community agencies.
Requirements
  • Active RN and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP license(s) in state(s) of practice.
  • Active national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served.
  • Active DEA registration prior to hire.
  • Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP certification as required by clinical practice.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
