Job Description

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at RidgeWood Health Campus, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing treatment plans designed by physical therapists, conducting therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation.

You will observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and concerns to the supervising physical therapist. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is preferred.
