Overview

Northern Light Home Care and Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading by example in our commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Estimated Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II who can work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients in their homes. As a leader on our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating expertise, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • One year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse; leadership experience a plus.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
