As a seasoned architect, you'll possess a deep understanding of cloud computing's potential in enhancing AI/ML applications. Your expertise will help shape the long-term technical direction for our software services, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business goals, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing AI/ML models to optimize cloud infrastructure and enhance user experience.
  • Building and refining machine learning pipelines and frameworks to support scalable AI/ML solutions.
  • Owning the primary responsibility for establishing a pragmatic long-term technical direction for our software services.
  • Leading a team of technical leads to evolve our service architecture and align across multiple product technical roadmaps.
  • Providing direction in establishing development and operational practices, with a focus on AI/ML model lifecycle management.
  • Serving as the technical lead on demanding, cross-functional projects.
  • Mentoring individuals and the engineering community on advanced technical issues, including best practices in AI/ML.
Requirements:
  • Architect-level experience: Proven expertise in large-scale cloud and AI/ML services, with a deep understanding of cloud computing's potential in enhancing AI/ML applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor large software and AI/ML teams.
  • Experience with web and cloud-native services, with a proven track record of deploying scalable AI/ML solutions in production.
  • Strong grasp of system interdependencies, limitations, and expertise in AI/ML optimization techniques for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience in AI/ML frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn, and model-serving frameworks like TensorFlow Serving or ONNX.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying models for performance-intensive applications at web-scale.
  • Understanding of the MLOps lifecycle, including data engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Master's degree or higher preferred in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • 15+ years professional experience in web-scale system software development.
  • 5+ years experience demonstrating an established track record in Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
  • 3+ years recent experience as an ML engineer, data science engineer, or similar.

The salary range for this position is between $225,000.00 - $338,000.00 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire and participation in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
