Woodshop Craftsman

Vista Musical Instruments, a leading innovator in the music industry, is seeking a skilled Woodshop Craftsman to join its team. Headquartered in Singapore, with operations in the USA, UK, and APAC, we offer a unique opportunity to work with global brands such as MONO, Harmony, Heritage Guitars, Teisco, Swee Lee, Dawsons, and Manny's.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and polish musical instrument surfaces to meet our high-quality standards using various tools and materials.
• Perform hand sanding tasks and inspect instruments for quality, making necessary adjustments.
• Operate woodworking equipment, including spindle sander, belt sander, router, bandsaw, and other machinery.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with hand tools and woodworking equipment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Prolonged periods of standing in a factory environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
