About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Support Professional to join our team at West Ohio Community Action Partnership.

Job Summary:

The Family Support Professional will provide essential services to families, focusing on early childhood development, parent education, and crisis intervention. This role is critical in fostering healthy relationships between parents and children, ensuring they receive necessary health and social services.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $30,551 to $38,501, based on a 20-hour workweek and an hourly wage of $14.74 to $18.18 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide family support, parent education, and child development information to promote healthy relationships and overall well-being.
  • Coordinate services and resources to ensure families receive necessary support, including follow-up services and assistance with accessing healthcare.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, understanding their unique needs and concerns.
  • Transport families to appointments as needed and ensure timely follow-up with supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with performance standards, licensing regulations, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or an associate's degree in early childhood education.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with families and colleagues.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the well-being and development of young children and their families.
