Hiring for a Sales Account Executive

Shopper Approved is a rapidly growing e-commerce review collection and syndication service, seeking a skilled sales professional to join our team.



About the Role

As an Inside Sales Account Executive at Shopper Approved, you will develop genuine relationships with prospects, understand their needs, and sell solutions that meet those needs. Our ideal candidate is a winner, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a previous sales role.



Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully close new business in an inside sales environment
  • Make 60+ high-quality calls per day to engage with prospects
  • Effectively manage a book of business using a CRM
  • Develop a deep understanding of Shopper Approved solutions and effectively communicate their value to prospects
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
  • Collaborate with the customer service team and operations to drive new business
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technology, and company knowledge to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A passion for online reviews and empowering small, medium, and enterprise-sized businesses
  • The ability to develop relationships quickly over the phone with prospects and customers
  • An absolute hunger to win business and exceed sales quotas
  • Demonstrated experience and success in a sales role, preferably in software sales and inside sales environments
  • Experience with quota and commission compensation structures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience within a sales/closing role
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in software sales
  • Experience within e-commerce or digital marketing
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business
  • Consistent over-achievement in past positions
  • Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills
  • CRM experience, preferably with HubSpot
