Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant PRN to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This individual will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to critically ill surgical patients in the intensive care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, surgeons, residents, and nurses to implement individualized care plans
  • Manage care of patients, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and assist in the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in QI initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatments of actual and potential patient problems
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant program
  • Current APRN/CPN license or PA license with State Medical Board
  • Current BLS certification
  • Three years of nursing experience (preferred)
