Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Renal Therapy Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our renal therapy department. You will provide guidance and support to our staff, ensuring that they have the resources and training needed to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day direction and supervision to assigned direct patient care staff.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual, as well as regulations set forth by the company, state, and federal agencies.
  • Supervise all documentation of patient information.
  • Coordinate Charge Nurse duties with Staff RNs acting in the relief charge capacity.
  • Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments appropriately.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
  • Current appropriate state licensure
  • Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience and an additional 3 months of clinical experience in dialysis
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis
  • Good communication skills - verbal and written
