Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ESG Corporate Counsel to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our Sustainability and ESG teams, you will provide legal support and advice on environmental sustainability and ESG matters.

About the Role:

  • Support clients by providing informed legal guidance on ESG obligations and risks.
  • Review and advise on ESG goal setting and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and direct legal support.
  • Engage with external counsel to ensure effective representation of Walmart's interests.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with business units to drive ESG initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • 6 years of experience in law, including 2 years leading cross-functional teams.
  • Licence to practice law in at least one state.
