Becker Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Long Term Care RN Specialist.

About the Job

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.

The successful candidate will work in our post-acute long term care setting, partnering with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment. This involves providing direct and indirect care to residents with complex needs, including those with Alzheimer's/dementia and short-term rehabilitation patients.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of previous RN experience, with a valid State of Maine or compact RN license. Strong teamwork and communication skills are required, as well as flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week. Floating to other units as needed is also a requirement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect care to residents with complex needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs
  • Develop and implement education programs for staff and residents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required
  • 1-3 years of previous RN experience required
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills required
  • Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week required
