As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in multiple modalities, providing patient care, and adhering to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Produces high-quality imaging while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology utilizing proper diagnostic imaging protocols.
- Facilitates patient flow daily; to include management of STAT/urgent and high-priority patients.
- Provides age-appropriate care and appropriately prepares patients for procedures.
- Provides clear and detailed information regarding the procedure and care to patients, families, coworkers, and others.
- Operates all imaging equipment; to include ancillary equipment following safety procedures and protocols.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiography program.
- Three (3) years of imaging experience.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT(R); Registered Computed Tomography Technologist ARRT(CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board: NMTCB (CT).
Exposure to radiation: Frequent. Exposure to blood/body fluids: Frequent. Exposure to infectious disease: Frequent. Exposure to skin irritants: Occasional. Exposure to chemicals: Occasional.
