Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is around $55,000-$70,000, depending on experience and qualifications. As a Patient Care Technician, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and more.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in the healthcare industry. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide direct patient care, work under the supervision of a registered nurse, and develop long-term relationships with patients receiving dialysis treatment. You will also be responsible for educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.
- Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Perform technician duties, such as setting up hemodialysis machines and monitoring patient stats
You will work closely with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership. We offer paid training and opportunities for advancement through our Clinical Ladders program.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to physically and mentally work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
