Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at Goodwin Recruiting, a leading full-service recruiting agency in the southern region of New York. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of industry experience and a strong background in site planning and development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to take ownership of projects from concept to construction. You will work collaboratively with senior project engineers, landscape architects, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of projects from conception to completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently
• Perform site inspections and construction oversight to ensure quality and safety standards
• Prepare engineering reports, develop site plans, and perform design calculations
• Apply for necessary permits and act as a liaison with government agencies

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site planning and development
• NYS PE Registration (NYS EIT considered)
• Experience with Hydro CAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
