TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to support domain teams with the execution of work efforts that deliver required application data dictionaries and data quality assessments in support of EDG and Privacy Policy compliance requirements.

Job Description

The role of the Data Management Specialist will involve working closely with domain teams to prioritize work efforts and delivery strategy. This includes proactive onboarding, partnering with domain teams to identify relevant artifacts, and facilitating meetings with delivery teams to complete templates.

Some key responsibilities of the Data Management Specialist include:

  • Familiarizing themselves with domain applications and performing due diligence
  • Partnering with domain teams to prioritize work efforts and delivery strategy
  • Loading artifacts with relevant input from external sources
  • Facilitating required meetings with delivery teams to complete templates
  • Supporting ABDO/TDM with analysis of artifacts to identify template contents
  • Facilitating the process and steps needed to complete templates, including approvals and storing templates into the EDG Policy Evidence folders

The Data Management Specialist will also be responsible for providing direction and guidance on process and template usage, partnering with COEs to provide needed clarity and guidance on policy, and identifying core and privacy data.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates will need to have strong interpersonal and communications skills, as well as solid experience with MS Excel. A demonstrated understanding of metadata concepts, data quality concepts, and technical/business content and data lineage is also essential.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
