Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

The CDW has an excellent opportunity for a skilled Technical Support Specialist. As a key member of the support team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware systems.

In this role, you will serve as a Level 1 Support Analyst, resolving user challenges escalated from the Help desk team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Setup: Install, configure, and set up hardware systems, including computers, servers, and peripherals, at client locations.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform regular maintenance on hardware systems and address technical issues or malfunctions swiftly.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose hardware problems using diagnostic tools and techniques, providing effective solutions.
  • Customer Support: Offer exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, understanding their needs, and providing timely support.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, and installations. Update documentation related to hardware configurations and service procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Required Expertise:

  • 2 years of experience in Technical Support, Hardware technician, or Field Technician.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hardware issues, familiarity with various hardware components and systems.
  • Experience supporting end users.
  • Effective communication skills and friendly demeanor.

About the Role:

This is a Full Time position located onsite in Elkhart, IN. The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, plus excellent benefits.
