Job Summary

Envelop Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security System Technician to join our team. As a key member of our physical security team, you will be responsible for the installation, setup, programming, and configuration of access control systems and video security cameras.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, program, and configure access control and surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, access control panels, intrusion alarm systems, and related hardware and software components.
  • Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Provide training to customers on the operation and basic maintenance of access control and video security systems.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections of security system installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Address customer questions and concerns during and after the installation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; vocational or trade school courses in electrical, electronics, or communication systems preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in physical security systems installation and service of access control/alarm systems, network camera, and video management systems, specifically Genetec.
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring security system software and platforms.
  • Network configuration of access control and video management systems.
  • Experience reading blueprints and knowledge of electrical circuitry.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
