Civil Design Engineer

- Aid in development of stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and construction plans while under the direction of a Professional Engineer.
- Ability to analyze design alternatives to develop cost-effective solutions to project challenges.
- Coordinates the preparation of advanced multi-discipline drawing sets as required for assigned projects, including coordination with technical, administrative, and other design staff.
- Promotes, utilizes, and supports quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors and omissions.
- Researches, reviews, interprets, and understands written design standards, regulations, code compliance, and permit requirements and applies them to design projects.
- Assists with design calculations, calculates quantities, reviews technical specifications, and prepares cost estimates.
- Aids in enhancing the team's overall efficiency and effectiveness.
