Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to join our team at Arcadia Home Care & Staffing, part of the Addus Homecare family of companies. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling clients to stay in their homes by providing support and personal care assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Support clients with light housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household requirements, preparing and serving meals/snacks, and running errands
• Keep clients engaged through conversation, games, and other forms of entertainment

Requirements

• Experience using and being trained on a Hoyer lift
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance (preferred)
• Ability to work occasional weekends
• GREAT ATTENDANCE is required, as our clients depend on us for their quality of life
• Exceptional patient service skills and a caring, compassionate personality
