Maintenance and Equipment Specialist

HRT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for providing technical support, resolving complex maintenance issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of machinery and equipment.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact. You will work closely with other departments to coordinate and communicate effectively, providing professional and collaborative support.
Main Responsibilities- Analyze and repair mechanical systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and CNC and pneumatic equipment on production lines.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and extend its lifespan.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and identify areas for future concern to prevent downtime and improve overall efficiency.
- Safely handle the installation and relocation of equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning in production and support areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety and best-practice procedures.
- 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of servo drives and motors, software-controlled CNC machinery, and PLC's.
- Proficiency in selecting, using, and safely handling tools and equipment.
- Basic working knowledge of mathematical concepts, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and some use of geometry and trigonometry.
The work environment is that of a manufacturing plant with varying temperatures and noise levels. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment issued for their location. Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking.
