Position Overview


We are looking for a dedicated Post-Closing Loan Processing Specialist to become a vital part of our AgSouth Farm Credit team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service that surpasses customer expectations by managing and executing post-closing loan activities, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately, and adhering to compliance standards for finalizing loans.


Key Responsibilities:

Post-Closing Support: Provide assistance to the lending team by meticulously reviewing and validating loan files in the loan origination system, correcting any discrepancies as needed. Engage with all relevant parties to guarantee that all necessary documents for loan files are received, digitized, and organized systematically.

Client Relations: Ensure that both current and prospective clients receive timely and professional service, offering general guidance regarding policies and procedures. Manage daily financial transactions, including receipts and disbursements, ensuring they are processed accurately and promptly. Maintain and update customer or loan information in the system as required.

Administrative Assistance: Support general administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency of branch operations. Collaborate with local public relations efforts and ensure that internal controls align with established accounting principles, policies, and procedures. Work closely with branch team members, marketing personnel, and facility management.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Familiarity with standard office procedures and proficiency in using office equipment, including computers, phones, copiers, and scanners
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all organizational levels
  • Self-driven with a willingness to learn and apply new procedures and concepts
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficient computer skills
