">Our esteemed client, CareerStaff Unlimited, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team as a school nurse for the 2023-2024 academic year. ">Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional care to students with various health needs, adhering to established health guidelines and protocols;">
- Administer medications as prescribed, including diastat, glucagon, Epi-pens, inhalers, nebulizers, and other treatments;">
- Familiarize yourself with medication administration routes, oxygen therapy, and insulin management;">
- Monitor students with chronic health conditions, providing necessary support and coordination;">
- Identify adverse reactions related to medications, documenting and reporting any concerns;">
- Care for students with diabetes, including glucose monitoring, ketone monitoring, hypoglycemic interventions, and hyperglycemic interventions;">
- Prioritize patient safety, ensuring accurate vital measurements, assessments, and timely interventions;">
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive student information;">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you should possess:

- A valid Registered Nurse license and current certifications (e.g., CPR/AED, First Aid);">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and staff;">
- Experience in pediatric nursing or a similar setting, preferably with exposure to school nursing or healthcare services;">
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands;">
