Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Appliance Repair Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing and repairing kitchen and laundry appliances in residential and commercial settings. Your strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed instructions will be essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers' needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair kitchen and laundry appliances in residential and commercial settings.
- Select and use basic appliance repair tools or instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, repair or test various major kitchen and laundry appliances.
- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs to customers.
- Read, understand, and navigate through information presented in schematics, diagrams, blueprints or other pictorial displays on an iPad.
- Use an iPad for routing functions, parts inquiries, ordering, charging, and sending invoices for each appliance repair job.
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent learning.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- An understanding of basic electric and plumbing principles for problem-solving.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Work experience as an appliance repair technician or an aptitude to learn the trade.
