Wausau Window and Wall Systems is seeking a skilled Assembly Line Technician to join our team in Stratford.

Job Summary

This is a dynamic opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in manufacturing and assembly line operations. As an Assembly Line Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and following established manufacturing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily production and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the assembly line.
  • Cross-train and support other roles within the Assembly department as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic computer proficiency and accuracy for time/labor entry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Work Environment

The associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, requiring hearing protection.
