As a leading manufacturer and distributor of team sports equipment and apparel, CHAMPRO offers a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to lead our art department. Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing, the Production Art Director will plan, direct, and coordinate all activities of the team sports art department. This includes managing production cycles and lead times, hiring, training, scheduling, quality, and mentoring of the art team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a background in manufacturing/production, and managerial experience.

Responsibilities
* Manage production art processes, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards
* Establish and maintain art department standards for production, productivity, quality, and client services
* Direct contract art services, including seasonal production scheduling, quality, efficiency, and labor staffing
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process changes
* Monitor staffing needs and supervise workloads to meet order requirements
* Provide clear direction and feedback to team members to improve quality and support business outcomes
* Collaborate with production and customer service to resolve order specifications
* Foster a positive work environment and team culture that drives performance and morale
* Develop and implement production art presentation approaches, styles, and techniques for the team

Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management or related fields
* 4+ years in a managerial role
* Proficiency with design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
* Exceptional capability with typography, layout, and prototyping
* Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives and analytics
* Proven leadership and decision-making ability
* Strong skills in work planning and scheduling
* Ability to travel approximately 25%

Compensation Package
This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, eligible associates receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401K, Profit Sharing, paid time off, holidays, and reimbursement toward gym membership fees.
