We are currently seeking a highly skilled Breast Pathology Specialist to join our team at Staff Icons. This is an exciting opportunity for a pathologist with experience in breast and gynecological pathology to take their career to the next level.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have broad competency in surgical pathology and additional interest/expertise in breast and gynecological pathology. A board certification in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology is mandatory, with fellowship subspecialty training being desirable. We are looking for a flexible individual with strong training who can work independently as part of a dynamic multi-specialty pathology practice serving both inpatient and outpatient clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert diagnosis and interpretation of breast and gynecological pathology specimens
  • To participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to patient care discussions
  • To maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • To stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in breast and gynecological pathology

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology
  • Fellowship subspecialty training in breast and gynecological pathology (desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in surgical pathology
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact well with clinicians, administrators, and laboratory staff
