About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Contract Specialist to join our team at Medical Services of America.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managed care contracts, with experience in securing new contracts, renegotiating existing ones, and ensuring optimal profitability for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviews and coordinates company operating licenses to ensure compliance
  • Identifies opportunities for contract optimization and coordinates execution
  • Collaborates with internal teams to develop a contracting relations plan and increase awareness of our services among payors
  • Ensures all licenses are up to date and renewed timely
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with payors and contracted carriers
  • Manages contract information within our systems and ensures HIPAA and corporate compliance
  • Liaises with billing and collections teams to resolve issues with payors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of managed care experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail required

Estimated salary range is between $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
