Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team at California Skin Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our physicians with examinations and treatments, as well as providing exceptional patient care.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with examinations and treatments
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
  • Obtain vital signs and record patient information
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Assist with scheduling patient appointments and tests
  • Process prescription refills and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with minor surgeries and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a medical assistant
  • 1 year of experience in dermatology or related field
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
