Job Summary

The Vibrant Life Program Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating resident programs that foster physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Program Planning: Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive activities program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Plan, schedule, and conduct programs, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Resident Engagement: Encourage and invite residents to participate in activities, assess their needs, and provide personalized support.
  • Volunteer Management: Organize and supervise a volunteer staff to support program delivery.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate holiday decorations, special events, and functions, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Supply Management: Maintain an inventory of activity supplies, games, and materials.
  • Data Collection: Gather data on resident assessments, participation, and satisfaction, preparing reports as needed.
  • Leadership: Collaborate with the Director to lead the wellness program, addressing resident groups and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school (preferred).
  • Experience: One to three years of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or working with the senior population (preferred).

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
