Arboriculture Professional

We are seeking a skilled Arboriculture Professional to join our team at Lewis Tree Service Inc., a leading provider of utility vegetation management services in North America. As a Trimmer/Climber, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services to our clients.

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of one year's experience working as a Trimmer/Climber, with expertise in tree climbing, knot tying, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will be responsible for performing line clearing and tree trimming duties for our utility customers, including pruning treetops and limbs, removing broken limbs from wires, roofs, etc., and operating aerial lifts.

• Perform line clearing and tree trimming duties for Lewis Tree Service's utility customers
• Climb trees and operate a bucket for trimming and removals in and above power lines
• Prepare, operate, and maintain all tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Remove limbs and brush, clean up, and dispose of debris
• Mix and apply spray chemicals to preserve desirable vegetation
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the working area, enforcing on-the-job safety practices

• At least one year's experience working as a Trimmer/Climber, with expertise in tree climbing, knot tying, and PPE
• Knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits, and correct arboriculture techniques
• Ability to perform physical labor, lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. to shoulder height or more
• Capable of operating two-handed equipment and enduring extreme climate variances
• Willingness to obtain specialized training and certifications, such as Local, state, and federal licenses
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR cards
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and job duty skills tests
• Valid Driver's License required
