Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Position

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment in Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to work with our team in Columbia, Maryland. As a travel Physical Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital or outpatient setting
  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to achieve patient goals
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in physical therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
