Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Columbia Mall. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by anticipating and meeting client needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to ANN INC. service standards.
  • Consistently meet or exceed divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals while contributing to the store's overall goals.
  • Embraces our values and behaviors, sets an example through behaviors, and inspires team by leading by example.
  • Completes opening/closing procedures and tasks, maintains a safe work environment, and adheres to Loss Prevention practices.
  • Participates in and attends Store Meetings, proactively uses associate education tools, and builds product and styling knowledge with peers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year sales associate or relevant experience in the services industry with proven results
  • Ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the client remains the top priority
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines as assigned with minimal supervision and within designated timeframes
  • Ability to handle cash and provide change without error
  • Remains flexible in scheduling that meets the needs of the business

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Maneuver effectively around sales floor and stock room
