About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team at Tarc. This individual will be responsible for performing advanced work in the upkeep of all buildings and property, inspecting premises daily to identify potential problems, and conducting equipment maintenance and repair work that does not require outside contracting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality checks and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Repair electrical motors and building maintenance systems such as plumbing systems, skylights, roof, meters, hoist, and water heaters
  • Create work orders and process procurement requests for supplies
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding problems found with buildings and grounds
  • Perform repairs on gates and fencing at various locations
  • Perform floor repair or replacement where needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of related building maintenance experience
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Kentucky or Indiana Commercial Class B Driver's License with a passenger and air brakes endorsements within 60 days of hire
Working Conditions

The incumbent will generally work in a noisy environment with adequate light and temperature. There may be occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, fumes, noxious odors, dust, mist, gases, and poor ventilation. The ability to see, hear, and speak is required, as well as the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Work will require mobility including lifting or moving materials.

Estimated Salary: $31.38/hour (based on national averages)
