Sleep Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to join our sleep disorders clinic on a part-time basis.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with various sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, and narcolepsy.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with sleep-related issues, including detailed history taking, physical examinations, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, providing behavioral therapy recommendations, and referring patients to specialists when necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on sleep hygiene, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
This role requires direct patient care, collaboration with physicians, sleep technologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Utah.
- National certification as an NP or PA.
- Previous experience in sleep medicine, pulmonology, neurology, or a related field is preferred.
