**Job Summary**
The Route Sales Representative at Golden Waffles is the face of our brand, delivering high-quality waffle products directly to valued customers. This role involves building strong customer relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service to uphold our reputation for quality and reliability.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Product Delivery and Service Support: Use a company vehicle to deliver products and provide support to customers on assigned routes.
- Sales and Business Development: Achieve sales targets, generate leads for new business, and grow the client base by educating customers on primary and promotional products.
- Customer Relationship Building: Treat customers with respect and courtesy to develop long-standing relationships and introduce new product lines or price changes to increase sales at each stop.
- Territory Management: Communicate territory trends to management to protect and expand the customer base.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer transactions, including payments, invoices, and inventory.
- Waffle Iron Maintenance: Provide maintenance services for waffle irons at customer facilities in accordance with company policy.
- Fleet Safety and Compliance: Adhere to the Fleet Safety Program, traffic laws, and all Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations without exception.
**Position Requirements**
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Driver's License: Valid drivers' license required
- DOT Certification: DOT certification required (minimum 21 years of age, pass DOT physical)
- Criminal and Credit Records: Acceptable driving, criminal, and credit records required
Estimated Annual Salary: $60,000-$80,000
