Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography exams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the highest level of quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography exams, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Verify patient orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Screen patients for contraindications to oral or IV contrast.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and nursing departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain performance skills, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • 2 years of prior Computed Tomography and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
  • Membership in related professional organizations preferred.
  • Commitment to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
Education and Licensure
  • Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in the State of Texas.
  • ARRT Certification (R) in Radiology (Technologists exempt from ARRT certification must meet Public Law requirements).
  • ARRT Certification (C) in Computed Tomography preferred.
