Community Health Navigator Coordinator

The Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board Inc is seeking a skilled Community Health Navigator Coordinator to join their team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of program services and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
About the RoleThe Community Health Navigator Coordinator will be responsible for providing high-level support, coordination, and implementation of program deliverables. Key responsibilities include preparing and writing reports, identifying funding opportunities, conducting literature reviews, and navigating state and national surveillance systems.
Responsibilities- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and write progress reports, annual reports, and internal reports to ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Funding Opportunities: Identify and pursue grant writing opportunities for existing and new projects, ensuring the continuation of vital programs.
- Program Evaluation: Design and conduct evaluations and diagnostic studies to assess the quality and performance of health education programs, informing strategic decisions and improvements.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research into existing and new data sources, analyzing results to recommend changes and improve program effectiveness.
- Culture-Based Approach: Integrate a cultural-based approach into evidence-based practices and best practice models, ensuring culturally sensitive and effective programming.
- Education and Experience: Completion of a formal training program or an associate's degree and one year of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or GED and three years of relevant experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Familiarity and/or experience working with American Indian populations and respect for traditional, cultural, and spiritual practices; excellent customer service skills; ability to handle crisis and tolerate stress professionally; proficiency with computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other Internet technologies.
The estimated salary for this position is $$60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board Inc offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
