Snowmaker

A Snowmaker at Mountain Capital Partners works together with a team to operate and maintain snowmaking equipment, ensuring the creation of high-quality machine-produced snow for Resort guests. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical skills and be able to work collaboratively with other Mountain Operations departments.

• Operate and maintain various snowmaking equipment.
• Practice safe snowmaking procedures to produce high-quality snow.
• Set up, move, and adjust snowmaking machines.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on snowmaking equipment as needed.
• Ensure no damage to trees, lifts, buildings, vehicles, or the environment occurs.
• Complete necessary paperwork and logs promptly.
• Clean up, move, and properly store supplies at the end of each shift.
• Work collaboratively with other Mountain Operations departments.
• Comply with all Mountain Operations and Snowmaking safety procedures.

Must be able to work and hike for extended periods at a high elevation and in inclement, unpredictable, and cold weather conditions, at night.

Must be able to push, pull, or drag up to 150 lbs.

Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs.

Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and operate controls.

Auditory, tactile, and visual discrimination are necessary capabilities.
