Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Medication Technician (CNA) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents according to their treatment plans.
  • Take orders from physicians and receive medications from suppliers.
  • Document all medication administration and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide good nursing care, including taking vital signs and administering enemas and suppositories as needed.
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff by following universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse's Aide certification or completion of the 75-hour course and company medication administration course.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds regularly or at least ten times per shift.
