Pediatric Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Rise Inc. Family invites skilled professionals to join our team as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive therapy services to children from birth to adolescence in collaboration with families, medical providers, and community representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments using standardized tools to determine occupational therapy diagnoses.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Promote and utilize evidence-based standards of care and treatment to ensure quality patient outcomes.
  • Goal-Oriented Care: Meet the patient's goals and needs by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete all required documentation in a timely manner and adjust communication patterns to the age and level of understanding of each child.
  • Caregiver Education and Support: Identify the need for caregiver education and provide opportunities for teaching.
  • Professional Development: Demonstrate knowledge in professionalism, child development, and assessment and evaluation.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, an Occupational Therapy License, and meets all prescribed professional requirements. Additional skills include critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, as well as experience with software, computer, and office equipment troubleshooting.

Benefits and Compensation

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $45-$55 per hour, depending on experience, along with a flexible schedule, referral bonus program, and employee assistance program. Full-time employees are eligible for additional benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA/FSA, short and long-term disability, life insurance, vacation time, sick leave, and 14 paid holidays.
