Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Staff Assistant to join our team for the after-school program. This role involves providing exceptional care and supervision to students in grades PK-9th during extended school hours. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, patient, and reliable individual with experience working with children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students during after-school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Assist with daily operations, including setup, snack time, and homework help.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create engaging activities and events that promote socialization and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to work.
Compensation and Benefits
