Senior Manufacturing Execution Systems Developer

Job Summary
Wright Technical Services is a leading provider of industry-specific software solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Manufacturing Execution Systems Developer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering business intelligence services, BI software development, and Power BI reports using our Control Systems, MES, and Power BI platforms. They will support new and upgraded Control System MES functionality at three facilities. Reporting to the Corporate Controls Engineering Manager or a Team Leader, they will collaborate with the team to ensure standards and processes for managing the Control System MES are followed. Mentoring will be provided to help understand the design and standards of the MES.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of Business Intelligence Services: Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions using our Control Systems, MES, and Power BI platforms.
- BI Software Development: Develop and maintain BI software applications to support business intelligence services.
- Power BI Reports: Design and develop Power BI reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Support of Control System MES Functionality: Support the implementation and maintenance of Control System MES functionality at three facilities.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in an Engineering-related discipline from an accredited college/university is required.
- Work Experience: 5+ years of experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably AVEVA, as a Programmer/Engineer.
- Technical Skills:
- Ladder Logic Programming: Proficiency in Ladder Logic Programming within Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix).
- Advanced HMI Development: Experience in developing advanced HMI applications using Wonderware (AVEVA) Archestra System Platform.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Principles: Understanding of OOP principles.
- Microsoft Visual Studio C#: Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio C#.
- Ethernet/IP Communication: Experience with Ethernet/IP communication within a Plant Control System.
- Microsoft Servers, SQL Server, and SQL Database Systems: Expertise in Microsoft Servers, SQL Server, and SQL database systems.
- Preferred Skills:
- .NET Programming Environment: Experience with the .NET programming environment.
- Data Modeling, Visualization, Reporting, and Dashboard: Experience in data modeling, visualization, reporting, and dashboard development using Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Microsoft Power BI Report Server and Microsoft Power BI Power Platform: Experience in working with Microsoft Power BI Report Server and Microsoft Power BI Power Platform.
- Data Analysis Expressions (DAX): Knowledge of DAX for creating calculations.
- Data Warehouse Concepts: Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
- ETL Processes and Data Modeling: Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling.
- SQL Queries: Ability to write, update, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
Location: Wright Technical Services is based in the United States, and the successful candidate will be required to work on-site.
