At JCMS, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Cost Estimator to join our team in the Washington, DC area. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with 8 years of relevant experience in engineering or construction to leverage their expertise and contribute to the success of our company.

Job Overview

We estimate that this role will come with a salary of $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

As a Senior Construction Cost Estimator at JCMS, Inc., you will be responsible for developing conceptual through detailed cost estimates, including change orders. You will also review cost estimates for quality and completeness before submission to projects. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the development and maintenance of our cost estimating database, ensuring all project data is properly stored and retrievable. Additionally, you will train junior staff in cost estimating and perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in engineering or construction;
  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • Expertise in developing project and construction estimates, schedules, and costs;
  • Familiarity with cost escalation, orders of magnitude, cost of materials, and labor rates;
