Job Description

This Electrical Design Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and experience while solving complex problems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing electrical power systems for industrial facilities, ethanol plants, specialty chemical facilities, grain handling, and feedmills.
  • Developing green energy solutions (solar) for municipal and industrial clients as they grow their renewable energy portfolios.
  • Performing high-quality engineering services, including load flow studies, short circuit analysis, arc flash risk assessment, and power factor correction.

Your role will also involve collaborating with clients and contractors to address RFI's and field questions, as well as communicating effectively to ensure project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience, with E.I.T. certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in software such as Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with electrical system studies (SKM or ETAP), PV design, and commercial building design.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $115,000 based on location and experience.
