About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Director to lead our construction projects from bid to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project schedules, coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices, as well as effective leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and bids, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to gather competitive pricing.
  • Maintain a database of costs and pricing information to improve estimation accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop project schedules with milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to clarify project requirements and ensure schedule adherence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience as an Estimator or Project Manager, preferably in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Deep understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
