Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Precision Tool and Die Repair Specialist to join our second shift team. As a critical member of our production process, you will ensure the peak performance of our stamping dies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily die maintenance and repair tasks, troubleshooting issues and performing preventative maintenance to maximize die lifespan and optimize performance.
- Utilize precision machining techniques on various machine tools to fabricate, modify, and repair die components with meticulous attention to detail.
- Apply analytical skills to diagnose die malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of die repairs, modifications, and performance data, collaborating effectively with the engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
- A strong background in tool and die repair, with demonstrated proficiency in die maintenance, troubleshooting, and machining techniques.
- Solid understanding of die design, construction, and operation, with the ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications.
