Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomy Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our patient services facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy and laboratory operations, with experience in supervising teams and managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of patient services facilities, including mobile phlebotomy, in-office phlebotomy, and patient service centers.
  • Supervise and train phlebotomy staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and customer service.
  • Manage inventory, scheduling, and staffing for all facilities, with a focus on minimizing overtime and ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, implementing cost containment programs and standardization initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and adherence to company policies.
  • Develop and implement training programs, ensuring staff are equipped to meet the needs of our patients and clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in phlebotomy or laboratory operations.
  • Five years of experience in phlebotomy, laboratory, or other healthcare environments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Phlebotomy certification (required in certain states).
