Job OverviewThe Territory Field Sales Representative is a part-time, outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling Basemakers' brands to grocery stores within the Nashville territory. This role involves building relationships with store managers, brand partners, and internal teams to increase brand presence and sales velocity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work a part-time schedule of approximately 20-30 hours per week, visiting 10 grocery stores per day to improve in-store presence and sell Basemakers' brands.
  • Build and maintain relationships with store managers, brand partners, and internal teams to drive sales growth and brand awareness.
  • Capture brand data using mobile phone apps and provide insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to achieve sales goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Positive mindset, high emotional intelligence, and grit to excel in a self-directed environment.
  • Experience in route sales, brand ambassadorship, or similar territory sales experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Premium selling skills and ability to learn and apply sales techniques quickly.
  • Passion for representing Basemakers' brand partners in the natural and specialty foods space.
  • Track record of success in a highly self-directed environment with a focus on sales growth and brand awareness.
  • Professional demeanor and representation in working with internal teams, external partners, and consumers.
What We Offer
  • $25,000 base salary + $250 monthly vehicle reimbursement + $272 average monthly commissions.
  • Uncapped performance-based commissions with opportunities to increase sales and brand presence.
